A short biography
Welcome my name is Athanasios Aronis
I was born between Ereikousa and Sidari on
George Manesis VARKA yes the old one.
My family immigrated to the United States
on August 1968 and we have been living in New York ever
since. I started working in the restaurant business when I
was 16 years old and I have owned my restaurant since
1988.
I'm a member of the Pan Ereikousa Society of America, for
the past 4 plus years I was the web host of
panerikoussa.org the official site of the Society and this
year I was voted the Society's Secretary.
I also volunteer at the Federation of Hellenic Societies of
Grater New York.
Member of the National Writers Union, and the
International press.

HELLO EVERYONE
My name is KONSTANTINOS KATEHIS
My family's name (paratsoukli) KANATAS
And yes i was born in Ereikousa about half a century ago,
with the help of Theia Gello in the neighborhood of Dentra.
It was ST.SPIRIDON'S day very early in the morning and DR.
RAZIS
could not come to Ereikousa from SIDARI due to whether
conditions.
I went to school in Ereikousa and then i travel to the island of
AEGINA
to go to high school.
I came to NEW YORK in 1973 and i work in the restaurants
since.
i am a member of the Ereikousian Society since 1975.
was the secretary on and off for about 15 years.
I am a published poet and a writer and i belong to AHEPA
chapter 175
at ZOODOHOS PEGE in the Bronx.
i am affiliated with the American poets and writers association
and the greek LOGOTEHNIKO EPIMELITIRIO.
All my rights in writing are reserved by the Library of
Congress in Washington DC.

Hello every one my name is Stella Aronis am 22 years old
and the eldest daughter of Athanasios and Afrodite Aronis.
I was born in New York City on December 15th 1985.
Although I am American born and raised, I have always
identified myself with my Greek heritage and furthermore
Erikoussiotiko background. I have always felt a personal
attachment to Erikoussa, a place I consider my second
home. To be able to have the luxury of going to Greece
and seeing my family and friends, and truly mean it when I
say "I'm going home!" is something I will never take for
granted. I have the privilege of having the best of two
worlds and it is something I am truly grateful for.

Hello to all,My name is Demetra Katechis (Tsandilis)
born in New York City and residing with my family in New
Paltz, NY the heart of Ulster County for the past 10
years. My husband Kyriakos (Tatsinas) and I own Yanni’
s Restaurant and Café a few miles away from the breath
taking views of Mohonk Mountain House. I have been
very active for 9+ years with three Greek communities
through out the Hudson Valley region teaching Greek
afternoon school, Greek Culture, Greek traditional
dance and working as a Director for Customer Service in
Sales.
I was active with the Pan Ereikousa Society of America
for a few years as second secretary and I have been a
member for most of my life
