Being arrested is a funny thing, especially for what I got arrested for.
Although I've contemplated murder, it wasn't for that. With our tough
economic times and people struggling for money I could turn to selling
drugs or prostitution but I didn't, therefore it wasn't for that either. These
are the only things that I feel my father could have ever lost his
credibility for as an editor had I gotten arrested for the above, but I
didn't. So for those of you who believe that, should look at their own
children and their own parenting before they judge myself or my father. I
feel no need to explain myself or what I did, to or for anyone. Those
closest to me know why I was taken in and they are proud but saddened
by the unfortunate situation. For my own reasons and to protect the
identities of the parties involved I am choosing to not share the details
of the events that took place. Some of you may be asking, "Then why
bring it up?" Unfortunately, some people feel like making up their own
stories as to what actually happened. To this I say thank you. Thank
you for making my life seem a lot more interesting then what it really is. I
also want these people to rest assure that this matter is being taken
care off with the cooperation of the Internal Affairs Division of the New
York City P.D to make sure that this injustice never happens again. I
don't consider myself a martyr. But I do believe that when injustices are
present, action should be taken.
